Vooraankondiging - EU-conferentie High Level Group on Own Resources (HLGOR; Monti group) op woensdag 7 en donderdag 8 september 2016

Besluit: Vooraankonding ter informatie; de vaste commissie voor Europese Zaken (voortouwcommissie) zal worden verzocht de commissie Financiën nauw te betrekken bij de verdere behandeling van dit onderwerp. Noot: Nationale parlementen kunnen een belangrijke rol spelen in de conferentie (zie informatie in volgende bullit). Leden die geinteresseerd zijn om t.z.t. aan de conferentie deel te nemen worden verzocht dit z.s.m. aan de staf door te geven. Nadere informatie volgt. Voortouwcommissie: EU-zaken.   INTERINSTITUTIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE FUTURE FINANCING OF THE EU Please note that the interinstitutional conference on the future financing of the European Union, organised within the framework of the High Level Group on Own Resources (HLGOR), will take place on 7-8 September at the European Parliament in Brussels (instead of 13-14 June as originally communicated to your Parliament/Chamber in the European Parliament's calendar of interparliamentary activities for the first half of 2016). This HLGOR was set up as a component of the agreement on the 2014-2020 multiannual financial framework (MFF). Since 2014 the Group has undertaken a general review of the current Own Resources system and studied possible reform options for the next MFF. The conference now aims at ensuring that the views of national parliaments are being taken into account before the Group presents its final report at the end of 2016. This event is intended to be with and for national parliaments. National parliamentarians will be given a prominent role on the subject panels. Interpretation will be provided throughout the conference in all EU languages.
